Luxury exposed aggregate, stamped concrete, decorative finishes, driveways, patios and commercial concrete — engineered by a family crew that has poured through 40 Saskatchewan winters.
Who We Are
Azore Concrete Ltd. is a family-owned and licensed concrete contractor built on a simple standard: work that holds up decades from now, not just at the final walkthrough. Our crews are seasoned, fully insured specialists who have spent a combined lifetime learning exactly how this ground and this climate behave.
We know every job carries a budget and a deadline. When you bring a project to Azore, we plan around both — while never cutting corners on subgrade preparation, mix selection or finishing technique. It's how a family crew keeps a 40-year reputation intact, one driveway, patio and garage pad at a time.
"A solid project will be found when you have the Azore crew around."
Why Choose Us
Anyone can pour a slab on a warm day. Surviving forty Saskatchewan winters without heaving, flaking or fading takes a different level of craft.
Every crew member is trained, insured and accountable, so your property and your project are protected from day one.
We scope every project against your timeline and your budget up front, and we build to that plan — not around it.
Every pour is backed by a full year of workmanship warranty, at no additional cost to you.
Our mix design and subgrade prep are chosen specifically to withstand Saskatchewan's punishing freeze-thaw cycles.
The Saskatoon Line
Saskatoon swings from roughly −40°C in January to over 30°C in July — a punishing range that expands, contracts and heaves anything installed without the right subgrade, drainage and mix design. Forty years of local pours has taught our crew exactly how to build for it.

From Site to Showpiece
Every project starts as raw forms and a fresh pour. Weeks later, it's a finished surface built to hold that finish for decades.
Our Process
The same sequence, every time — because skipping a stage is exactly how prairie concrete fails early.
We consult on placement, square footage and thickness, then help you navigate any local permitting requirements before work begins.
Old structures are removed safely and cleanly, and the site is cleared to make way for a proper foundation.
We level and compact the site, then add a compacted gravel subbase engineered for our region's freeze-thaw movement.
Forms and reinforcing steel go in, then we pour a mix chosen for Saskatchewan's climate and finish it to spec — broom, Fresno, power trowel or stamped.
We protect moisture levels while the slab cures to full strength, cut expansion joints, and seal decorative surfaces to lock the finish in.

Straight answers on how concrete behaves in our climate, drawn from four decades of real Saskatoon projects.
Concrete can crack even when every precaution is taken, which is why we cut control joints into the surface to guide where minor cracking occurs. A crack of 3/8 inch or less in height or gap is considered normal and isn't a warranty issue.
Avoid driving on new concrete for at least 7–14 days while it cures to full strength. We'll confirm exact timing for your mix and the weather conditions before we leave the site.
Our freeze-thaw cycles can cause concrete to heave and then settle back close to its original position, sometimes leading to surface cracking. This is a normal characteristic of concrete in our climate, not a defect — it's why correct subgrade prep and mix selection matter so much.
We recommend avoiding de-icing chemicals — particularly those containing ammonium sulfate or ammonium nitrate — and using sand for traction instead. Chemical de-icers can accelerate surface flaking, especially in the first winters after a pour.
Yes — every project is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty from the date of completion, at no additional cost to you.
Yes. We recommend applying a quality sealer on decorative concrete and reapplying roughly every year to protect colour and surface integrity. We also offer sealing as an ongoing service.
Not precisely — even different pours on different days can vary slightly in colour, and that's normal. If you're replacing only a section of an existing surface, expect some visible colour difference over time.
